Highland Park Pet Policy

At Highland Park, we warmly welcome your furry friends! Our pet-friendly community is designed to ensure a comfortable living experience for both you and your pets. Please review our pet policy to help maintain a pleasant environment for everyone:

Types of Pets:

We allow dogs and cats. Unfortunately, exotic pets such as reptiles, birds, and rodents are not permitted.
Breed Restrictions:
To ensure the safety and comfort of all residents, certain

breeds known for aggressive behavior are not allowed.

Size Limits: Pets must not exceed 35 pounds.

Pet Deposit: A refundable deposit of $100 is required per pet to cover potential damage.

Monthly Pet Rent: An additional monthly rent of $85 applies for each dog and $50 for each cat.

Number of Pets:

Residents may have up to 1 pet per apartment.

Pet Agreement:

All pet owners must sign a pet addendum to their lease, agreeing to adhere to our community rules and responsibilities.

Vaccinations and Licensing:

Proof of current vaccinations and pet licensing is required.

Behavior and Noise:

Pets must not disturb other residents with excessive noise. Owners are responsible for their pets’ behavior and must promptly clean up after them.

Service Animals:

Service animals, including emotional support animals, are accommodated according to fair housing laws and are exempt from pet fees.

Compliance:

Our team may conduct periodic inspections to ensure compliance with the pet policy.
